Oh, wow this sounds great! It has a nice groove to it. It reminds me of this one shop in Majoras Mask. Now I'm not sure if the name fits? But is a fine piece of work! It reminds me of some old shady businessman. I'm not sure how I feel about the looping pount at the end there. I wishede it looped a little more seamlessly but thats just my little nitpick. Good Work!

TurtleBox420 responds:

It loops seamlessly in game, NewGrounds isn't really known for representing loops all to well unfortunately.

Also, the name is part of the soundtrack. It's the dialog bgm for a Mummy themed NSFW game.

Oooo Im loving the vibe here! The lyrics and instruments are so chill and catchy! I'm really digging those chords too! That bass ties everything together and that melody here at 01:50 really gives off that old 90s vibe you going for! The only critiques I have for you is I think the vocals might be a little too quiet. My ears were hearing this:

"for these years, all these years, I want to f*ck you so muuuuuch"

So boost those vocals up a bit and I think you got a chill banger here!

xanxoepico responds:

LMAO BRO THE F SOUND SOUNDS REAL DIFFERENT THAN THAT FOR MIKU XDDDDD

truth to be told I did find them a bit quiet too, I overdid it the compression, you would fall out of your chair if you saw the fruity limiter display lol, but the problem was that the other things I tried still made the volume fluctuate too much, some parts were real quiet while others destroyed my ears, buuuuut I think it might be because I don't know how to control that from vocaloid itself though

but thanks for the review and critique!

Not a bad start, I enjoy the industrial feel it's giving off. But I would suggest adding a few more melodies and instruments to break up the repetitiveness of the song. Hell switch up the melodies or add sound effects if you have too. This could grow into a solid song with just a little more work. Looking forward to seeing what else you can do!

Dynamic0 responds:

Thank you for review.
Repetitiveness will be removed.

Yea okay, I can get down with this. It reminds me of Castle Crashers honestly lol. Which is a amazing thing. I though it was going to be very repetitive in the beginning, but there are some pretty nice variation going on here. The sound FX you used in the song really enforced that Halloween vibe while keeping things fun. (If that makes sense.) It could loop very nicely if it wasn't for that tail at the end. Solid work here!

Thank you! It was meant to be somewhat "repetitive" as it is a BGM style track. Thank you for your review!!

First off What and how???
How did you make those strings sound elegant??? This is some very impressive work! I can see you took some inspiration from other classical music. like around the 01:04 mark I don't know why but it sounds very familiar. Also that piano does a very good job at complimenting the strings.
I can really see this being used in a silent film. Also I don't know if you meant to due this but there is a random note at the end lol it just seemed off to me. Anyway great work man!

Qu4drupleForte responds:

Thanks for the thorough review! This is probably one of my less classical pieces actually, the intention was more of a celtic/English folk sound but it's easier to emulate that sound in a more joyful context than a flowing, mournful one, so I gravitated more towards classical melodies in the middle section. Also you're not hearing things, there is a note that's off towards the end; it's the correct pitch, it's just that the sample included in EWQL was from an open string, which - at the FF dynamic - can sound a bit nasty depending on your taste.

This is some good hacking music!!!

zybor responds:

Thanks a lot for your review.

This is amazing! I'm glad you never stopped making music Mattashi! :)

Mattashi responds:

Thank you ET16! I don't think I'll ever quit, just temporary music blocks xD

I really like the intro it was very relaxing lol. After listening to the original I'm still on the fence on which one I like more. This one has really cool synth effects lol and the other one has that smexy piano. :3 The mixing and mastering is wonderful nothing is overwhelming eachother. Its really nice to hear every detail in a song. I really hope you continue to do more in the future I would like to see what else you have to offer here. :)

Drewpy responds:

Thanks dude! I was extremely proud of the mixing on this track. Glad you agree it doesn't sound half bad :)

This is very well done! Your mixing is pretty good too! I really like the way you did the piano around the 02:47 and every instrument you have chosen is very spot on! I cant really see anything I would change. the strings that come in at the 2min mark are a nice touch too!

Hm maybe I should switch to Logic I really like the way the strings sound. :)

Good work!

FateModified responds:

Thanks! I was trying to get it to sound as close to the original as possible, so I didn't really "choose" the instruments so much. The same goes for the piano.

I used a lot of automation on the instruments' volume levels, particularly the strings, to make them sound more dynamic, and added reverb. Logic comes with an awesome convolution reverb plug-in called "Space Designer" which is amazing.

Thanks again for the review! :)
